“They said that sleeping through the winter is easy up here on Mount Korvatunturi. Lapland is peaceful. But how could anyone sleep with all this noise? From every direction comes terrible clattering and pounding!
– I’d better go and find out what’s going on.”

In the story, Bear is about to begin his winter hibernation but ends up investigating the mysterious noise all around him.

❄️ Most recently, I illustrated the Christmas Calendar 2025 for the Finnish Heart Association (Sydänliitto). The calendar tells the story of a bear whose winter sleep at Father Christmas’s mountain home in Lapland, Korvatunturi, is disturbed by mysterious noises.
